Hyundai Donates $500,000 to the American Red Cross

Hyundai Motor America today announced a $500,000 donation to the American Red Cross to support Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.

“The devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy has created enormous loss and challenges for millions in the storm’s wake,” said John Krafcik, President and CEO, Hyundai Motor America. “We know how important the relief efforts of the Red Cross are and hope that our donation can make a difference in helping those still recovering from the extraordinary impact of this storm.”

As the Red Cross continues its massive relief operations, Hyundai is also encouraging its employees, dealer network and vendor partners to volunteer or provide additional support.

I had my Hyundai serviced on Oct 27 and Mike and his crew were great. They kept me informed throughout the day and let me know a part was going to need to be ordered to fix a chirping noise coming from my fan (they actually heard the chirp!).

I recently brought my car into the shop to have my battery checked out. Indeed it was near the end of its life so it was replaced. I have had my car in for service several times, always being treated with professionalism.

I have two hyundai's and have had both sreviced at checkered flag. the service and the service advisor have been great and will have no problem returning. mike and mark have been very helpful all the way. will send anybody looking for service or the purchase of a vehicle to checkered flag.
